TMC Trailers Ltd have secured the naming rights to TMC Trailer Ltd Trucking 2016. “As a locally owned and run Canterbury based business we saw this as an opportunity to show our continued support to this great event and also our customers and the industry as a whole” said Paul ‘Skippy’ Goodman, Sales Manager, TMC Trailers Ltd. This local family concern has been serving the transport industry for over 65 years. For exhibitors, the show represents a huge opportunity to connect with the industry and the public. The display area has been enlarged and now includes a marquee village with display or hospitality options available. Outside vehicle and machinery display space is also being offered. Inside the main hall are 72 trade spaces along with a ‘Careers Hub’ to help promote the trucking industry to the general public, advertise positions or promote training options.
TMC Trailers is extending our services to Auckland with the arrival of our new service vehicle. Stephen Millichamp (Mille), our Auckland based Service Manager, will be covering the greater Auckland area and will be available for any servicing or repairs to either TMC trailers or Steelbro sidelifters.
TMC Trailers is pleased to announce the appointment as Steelbro's manufacturing partner and distributor of Steelbro sidelifters for the New Zealand market. TMC Trailers will commence supplying the complete range of Steelbro sidelifters. The company will manufacture trailers to Steelbro specifications and high quality standards with the support of experienced Steelbro engineers. Christchurch based TMC will be responsible for the complete assembly of the sidelifter unit and delivery to Steelbro’s valued customers. The partnership brings together the best of two companies – TMC with over 65 years experience manufacturing trailers in New Zealand together with Steelbro’s strong brand and reputation in the New Zealand sidelifter market.
TMC's 3000th Trailer is the fourth of seven destined for Linfox NZ Ltd, the quad axle step-deck curtainsider will be based in the South Island, hauling groceries between Nelson and Invercargill. The trailer was handed over to Mick Best, the New Zealand fleet and compliance manager for Linfox. Mick mentions that TMC had built trailers for Linfox in the past and this order follows other trailers from TMC that have proven very successful.
